Welcome to the Tom Moore High School website!  I am pleased that you have signed on for a “visit” to our campus and encourage you to roam through the various informational links to become familiar with our school.  At Tom Moore our staff is committed to building and maintaining a school climate which fosters compassion, responsible citizenship, respect, strong relationships, creation and innovation, critical thinking, and intellectual excellence.  Students will be given every opportunity for academic and personal achievement every day.

We offer a diversified curriculum here at TMHS, from AP, UT OnRamps, Dual Credit college courses, to CTE classes that prepare students for a career in the technical side of the workforce.  It is our hope that students will be inspired to become competent, caring, contributing members of the state of Texas and the American nation.

As a P-tech Early Campus we offer many career pathways. Our goal is to equip students for success in many fields. Medical, Ag Science, Welding, Teaching, Computer Science, and many others. Our student will be prepared to succeed in college, trade schools, jobs, and the military when they leave Tom Moore High School. We have partnered with many area businesses, local law enforcement, local fire departments, and many colleges and universities. Every student attending Tom Moore High School will have the opportunity to graduate with an Associates Degree and an array of certifications.

Parents play a critical role in supporting their children in their school endeavors. We encourage you to monitor your child’s academic assignments and progress.  We also stress the importance of parent’s support of extracurricular activities such as athletics, VASE, OAP, Band, UIL and AG projects just to mention a few.  Our goal is to have a parent/guardian, or family member supporting every student participating in an activity.

Because of the district and campus commitment to the highest standards of instruction for your child. I plan to spend a lot of time in classrooms to assist in the continuous improvement in the teaching and learning that happens daily.  Therefore, I may not always be available to immediately speak with you when you drop in or telephone.  I do value communicating with you and ask that you contact my secretary who will schedule a time for us to talk.  If you have questions at any time, please feel free to contact me at the High School.

I am so blessed to say that I have been a part of the Warrior family for 10 years, and I would not want to be anywhere else!  I look forward to meeting each of you personally and welcoming you to our campus.  You will soon see why we are the best high school in the Hill Country.
